As an offshoot of the previous post, I’m giving shoprunner a try. It’s like Amazon Prime (right down to the price and the one month free trial, minus the video on demand perks) but for several websites, including newegg. It has a few nice features like a good online interface, 2 day shipping on stuff and the ability to share it with 4 household members, but it looks like it all ships UPS.
To be fair, I haven’t had a problem with UPS since I had to call and scream at them that this house does, in fact, EXIST, but I know many would have reservations about using them.
Hadn’t seen any chatter about it, so thought I would mention it. I’m having a good experience with it so far, and frankly I would be tempted to keep it if I were planning to stay in the country.
