You know how I fall behind on the latest software because the old will do? I was still using a friendly, if aging, version of Office 2003 for all of my school needs on the old laptop, since google docs is a little bit too lightweight for this stuff, but Office 2007 is preinstalled on Persephone and I have resorted to using it, may god darken its name and infest its code with the binary equivalent...

They (allegedly) keep turning off the power to half of the facility today, and every time the power is cycled the air ducts make the metallic noises of sheet metal bulging—or of creatures skittering through the ventilation. If you never hear from me again, it’s because I couldn’t locate and wield a crowbar quickly enough.

We’ve been playing Warhammer, to varying extents, and having a blast with it thus far. It’s not as primal and gory as Age of Conan, but then again it’s not profoundly broken, either. Fresh out of the download queue, it’s pretty damn functional, with many layout and ui options that took 15 conflicting mods in WoW to replicate, so it’s not such a fucking hassle to set...
